  • The fabric is very light and fine: 85% Tencel; 15% polyester
  • Tencel® is the brand name of a recently invented fabric made entirely from natural materials called lyocell. It is the only new fabric invented in the last 30 years. Unlike nylon and polyester, lyocell is not made from entirely synthetic polymers, but from pure wood cellulose. It is obtained from wood, from controlled wood farms, which is why it is considered a renewable, environmentally friendly material. Although the fabric is manufactured artificially, it is considered natural and therefore biodegradable. It is an environmentally friendly and 100% biodegradable material. The product has received a special award for environmental protection in Europe.
