How to maintain jeans

Maintaining your jeans is important to continue wearing them with pleasure and extend their life. Here are some tips for proper jeans care:

1. Wash them infrequently: Jeans do not need frequent washing. Frequent washing can bleach their color and wear them out faster. Only wash them if they are really dirty or if an unpleasant smell appears.

2. Turn them inside out: Before putting them in the washing machine, turn your jeans inside out. This will protect their color and finish from wear.

3. Use cold or cool wash: Avoid hot water as it can shrink the fabric and bleach the color.

4. Use a gentle cycle: Choose a delicate cycle to protect textiles from wear and tear.

5. Avoid using mild detergents: These products can build up residue in textiles and make them less robust.

6. Air dry: It is best to air dry your jeans in the shade. Direct sunlight can bleach the color.

7. Avoid ironing: If possible, do not iron your jeans. If you want to straighten them, use the steam on your iron or hang them on your neck after a bath, when the steam from the bath can smooth the fabric.

8. Proper storage: Store jeans on a hanger or flat. Avoid shrinking or piling heavy objects on them.

With proper care, your jeans will stay beautiful and comfortable for longer.
